Review No. 1 - Booking has a review of Clarion Shaftesbury London Hyde Park and Mature Couple writes “The air conditioning in our room was excellent; and access to broadband internet was also very good. The staff were polite and the room was quiet. Although the furnishings were of a high standard, they were far too big for the room; leaving us hardly any room to move around the room - we had to squeeze sideways along the bed to reach the bathroom and drawers etc. We were also very disappointed that on two of the three days of our stay no hot water was available when needed - we had to use the kettle to provide hot water for the bath as the shower could not be used. Due to a malfunction of the underground network, we arrived back from the theatre to find that all local restaurants were closed and that no room service was not available except for the offer of a take away pizza.

Review No. 2 - Booking has a review of Clarion Shaftesbury London Hyde Park and Mr. Jack writes “1. Although the room is small like most of the reviews, it is quite nice and cozy with a good plasma TV.
2. It is also very near to the queensway and bayswater tube although the circle and district lines are down on weekend and there are strikes going on 3rd Sep 2007 after 6pm.

The lift is not working alyhough I’m staying near the basement, can hear noises of doors banging when people move in and out”.

One More Customer says “beautiful room and bathroom, were able to leave our bags there because we arrived before check in time, and were also allowed to keep them there after we had checked out,loved the large tv, fridge and kettle.room was small, but perfect if your only staying a couple of days and for the price i expected nothing more”.
